Making History in Miami
More than 700 changemakers nationwide gather at the 2026 National ALICE Summit
Surrounded by Miami's vibrant culture and arts scene, United For ALICE® made history last week at the 2026 National ALICE Summit, with our largest gathering of ALICE champions to date. More than 700 changemakers from across the country gathered January 5-7, echoing a shared message: All workers and families deserve a bright future — and it starts with us.
Together, our movement — led by United Way of Northern New Jersey and its CEO, Kiran Handa Gaudioso — accomplished something truly remarkable over those three days:
- 55+ inspiring sessions, attracting attendees from 44 states plus the District of Columbia
- Champions from United Ways, Fortune 500 companies, corporations, foundations, government agencies, nonprofits, and media outlets — all united to help ALICE rise
"You have an opportunity to come together, to really learn from each other, to understand where the work is going, and to really feel the energy of this movement," said one Summit attendee.
And none of it would have been possible without the support and dedication of so many:
